Where the figures come from
Every size, weight and fee was read on the airline's own website (SNCF Connect and OUIGO for French trains) on the date shown. Never on a comparison site, a blog or a luggage shop. When a page does not give a figure, we say "not published"; when it could not be read (bot protection, sizes shown only in an image), we say that too.
When the same official page gives two different figures, we keep the stricter one and say so on the airline's page (WestJet, British Airways, Nouvelair).
How the checker compares
- Your bag's three sides and the limit's three sides are each sorted from longest to shortest and compared one by one: you can turn the bag, but a side that is too long is not offset by a shorter one.
- Equal means it fits: published limits are maximums.
- Weight is compared with the lowest published limit: per bag, or shared with the personal item (Transavia, Air France, KLM, Qantas, Jetstar…).
- When an airline publishes its limits in both centimetres and inches (Delta, United, American, Air Canada…), both are official but do not match exactly (14 in is 35.56 cm; Delta says 35 cm): your bag passes if it meets either.
- Tunisair only publishes length + width + height (115 cm): that is what we check.
- Inches you type are converted exactly (1 in = 2.54 cm, 1 lb = 0.4536 kg). Limits published only in inches (Southwest, Frontier) are converted to centimetres rounded down, so we never show a limit larger than it is.
- Everything runs in your browser; nothing is sent.
What this site does not do
It cannot guarantee boarding: gate staff have the final say, and a full flight can send any bag to the hold. It sells no luggage and belongs to no luggage brand.
